All About Me I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1989 with a B. S. in Electrical Engineering and from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in 2011. I have been in lay and bi-vocational ministry at various churches for many years. I am currently in between churches, but that could change at any moment according to God's plan. I am also Director of Partnerships for Designs for Hope, a missions organization that puts design skills to use in advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ. My passions are preaching, teaching, missions, and writing. I am married to Patty and have two adult children as well as one unofficially "adopted" adult child. My Ministry Experience
My Publishing Imprint: Imagine Publishing I live in the world of Indie (a.k.a., independent) Publishing. Imagine Publishing is my personal imprint for the works that I self-publish. Although my personal life verse is Hebrews 12:2, the verse I use as the focus for my ministry and writing endeavors is Ephesians 3:20. Ephesians 3:20-21 says, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." This Doxology says much about how I approach ministry in general and my writing activities specifically. Everything is for the glory of Jesus Christ and, if I will just step back and get out of the way, he will do things that go beyond my wildest imagination! Just "Imagine" what Jesus can do - and then be amazed that he can do even greater things than that! |
